As we all know that social media plays an important role in every individual’s life. Social media is used by all age groups to connect with the friends as well as it is also used for business purposes. Nowadays, all brand have their page on social media like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter etc. Through social media they can get feedback about their product. And they can improve their services.

I want to create a one new fan page for Beats which will have a more followers than their official page. And I can get to know positive and negative views of customers. Through that page I will work on their views. I can get knew ideas through other fan pages. And will improve my page.  Audience of my page will be all age groups which are using headphones and using social media.

1.       The fan page of AKG acoustic which I found is on Facebook which is known as AKG headphone luxury. The best thing which I found on this fan page the cover photo of the page. I like this page because it not only posts their own products. This page also posts and share items from other pages. But the thing which I don’t like about this is it don’t have enough information about the AKG. It also doesn’t have more followers and like. Secondly, its all posts have an incomplete information which doesn’t convey the full message to the follower. Mostly, this page upload the posts by monthly.

Bose and Sennheiser fans have been actively posting the videos and participating most of the blogs by the both companies. It is so amazing to see fans blogs on social media and product rating sites. Since I have been researching about these two companies fan pages, I found Bose is little ahead than Sennheiser.

The First Bose Blog Video post by the fan page on ispot.tv is all about Russell Wilson an American football player and music king Maclemore have been talking about the Sound link Around-Ear Wireless Headphone 2 by Bose




The Second Bose Blog Video post by the fan Lewis Hamilton who is one of the best driver formula 1 racing car by Mercedes. He has endorsed the Bose The soundtrack and has inspired many of his followers. 










The Third Bose Blog Video post on CNET.com and posted by David Carnoy. This blog has been viral and became trends on getting Bose products reviewed by fans. Fans review this headphone with it’s price and quality.

Being a part of Bose company and being able to demonstrate some strategies to make a better marketing plan to promote Bose’s products and services to the market will be indeed a great opportunity for me. Bose company’s focus has been promoting products and servicing mostly In-store and company also has been outstanding presenting through social media such as Facebook, You-tube, Twitter and other social media sources. I love the way Facebook strategy has been working, over 19 million Canadians are now logging onto Facebook every month and that is indeed more than half the population in Canada. Facebook also has been ranked top social media users world-wide so I will sure take an advantage promoting this brand on Facebook.


  • ·       This campaign will be created for Bose Company and name of the campaign is up to 40% discounted price on selected and 25% OFF on new arrivals instruments.
  • ·       Campaign of Bose will be presented through Facebook since there are many active users world-wide and company can easily reach effectively with low cost. I will be creating videos using celebrities also creating online flyers and will be posting all of them on Facebook and YouTube.
  • ·       Mostly young customer aging 16 to 35 years will be our target customers as these ages use Facebook actively and also would be interested in new generation music instrument from Bose.
  • ·       Campaign will look like “UP TO 40% OFF ON SELECTED BOSE INSTRUMENTS & 25% on our NEW ARRIVAL HURRY UP BEFORE IT GETS SOLD” conditions apply***
  • ·       Goal would be get rid of old inventories so that company can focus on launching new technologies instruments and company can be remained Number 1 in music instrument industry.
  • ·       It would be decent idea for launching this event on day of Black Friday since mostly clients want to buy Bose’s products on this day since there will be great promotion on prices and customers may also find varieties of the instruments with great discount on selected and new arrival available to purchase.
  • ·       I would be using social media platform to promote Bose’s unique strategy, two most strategies I would use Facebook and YouTube as these are very popular media among company’s clientele

How both companies are performing on YouTube?


Brand A would be Bose and Brand B would be Sennheiser

Bose has been very popular among its customers and always recognized to be number 1 leader in the music industry due to company’s innovation and its reputation providing the best sound with great quality. Sennheiser is also having best clientele and considered to be best for current and future innovation of music instruments.

·       Bose has been posting videos on YouTube for fans four times in a month and some months’ company posted six times as well. Bose seems to be very active on social media and very engaged with their clients. Sennheiser is also following the same trend of presenting its brand on YouTube
·       In the video which I liked the most about Bose was showing Russell Wilson an American football players have been practising football in the ground and he took Bose’s sound link mini Bluetooth Speaker with him to be able to listen music while playing football. Sennheiser also used model in its video to promote their new musical instruments.
·       Bose shows sound link mini is packed full of technologies high efficiency transducers dual passive radiator if you go on and on. All you need to know it looks small but sounds loud. Bose also matching its product with celebrity’s favourite instrument. Video got 515,077 views on YouTube. Like and Comments were disable by the Bose. Sennheiser got one of the best microphones in the world and I liked raise your voice promo on YouTube.
·       Both videos have been endorsed by the famous celebrities and Models and videos contain some cool product innovations and matched with celebrity’s daily use encourage many consumers to buy company’s products and services.
·       Bose has got 78,307 Subscribers on YouTube and It has many viewers on daily basis.
